2 Hospitalized After Collision at Mt. Vernon Avenue and F Street
Colton, CA (August 3, 2022) – Two people suffered injuries following a car accident that occurred in the area of Mt. Vernon Avenue and F Street.
According to On Scene TV, a collision between a marked patrol vehicle and a civilian car took place at the intersection in Colton. The crash was reported at about 12:24 a.m.

Emergency crews later arrived and checked the conditions of all parties involved in the wreck. After the evaluation, paramedics confirmed two occupants in the civilian car sustained injuries as a result of the incident. Medical personnel transported the victims to a local hospital for further treatment and evaluation.
No immediate information was available on the condition of the Colton Police officer involved in the crash.
Detectives stayed at the scene several hours after the collision. At this time, investigators continue to work to determine exactly how and why the crash happened at Mt. Vernon Avenue and F Street in Colton.
