Man Hit and Killed by Semi Truck on Riverside Freeway Monday
Colton, CA (July 19, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a fatal pedestrian accident that occurred on Interstate 215, also known as Riverside Freeway, Monday evening.
Initial records indicated a semi truck hit an individual in the northbound side of the freeway. The catastrophic incident took place near the connector ramp onto 10 Freeway in Colton.
Shortly after 10:38 p.m., emergency crews arrived at the crash site. First responders found the pedestrian pinned underneath the big rig.

Paramedics performed life-saving measures to the victim, but they sadly succumbed to their injuries and died. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Several factors surrounding the deadly pedestrian accident on Interstate 215 have not been revealed thus far. At this time, detectives continue to investigate the precise cause of the unfortunate event.
