Man, 57, Killed in Colton Crash at Valley Boulevard and Cypress Avenue
COLTON (January 10, 2019) – A pedestrian was killed after a traffic accident in the area of Valley Boulevard and Cypress Avenue late Wednesday night, according to The Press Enterprise.
The fatal collision took place on January 9 at approximately 11:05 p.m. near the 10 Freeway.
As per the article, California Highway Patrol said a 57-year-old Colton man was walking across the intersection of Valley Boulevard and Cypress Avenue when he was struck by a Cadillac CTS-V.
The car was traveling east on Valley Boulevard at around 45 to 50 mph when for an unknown reason it hit the pedestrian.

Paramedics responded to the scene and rushed the victim to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center where he later succumbed to his injuries.
His name has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin. Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the 39-year-old Menifee man driving the vehicle involved apparently stopped after hitting the man.
