COLTON, California (February 23, 2016) — A stalled car was struck a full speed by another driver Tuesday morning on the northbound Interstate 215 Freeway, just north of Washington Street, a California Highway Patrol report said.
Police say a red vehicle was stalled in traffic lanes about 5:57 a.m. when a second driver in a black vehicle crashed into it and the two vehicles were blocking the HOV and Nos. 1 and 2 lanes. Paramedics responded to the scene to help those hurt in the crash and heavy traffic prompted CHP officers to divert traffic. Two tow trucks were required to remove the disabled vehicles.
