1 Hospitalized After Colton Truck-Car Crash on 215 Freeway
COLTON (February 17, 2018) – A fiery traffic collision occurred on the Interstate 215 Freeway Wednesday evening, according to the Press Enterprise.
As per the article, a big rif possibly struck a bridge over the northbound side of the freeway and crashed into a passenger vehicle. The impact resulted in at least one of the involved vehicle catching fire.
Officials said the incident happened at approximately 7:30 p.m. near Iowa Avenue.
Multiple emergency teams– including the Colton, Loma Linda, and San Bernardino County firefighters, responded to the crash. Medical records on the fiery collision indicated that the rig operator was transported to a hospital for unclear reasons.
At this time, the identities and conditions of the other parties involved in the wreck remained unclear.
Further investigation is still ongoing to determine how and why the crash happened.
