Minor Injury Collision at Old Oregon Trail and Old Alturas Road Thursday
Columbia, CA (April 20, 2021) – A traffic accident involving two vehicles occurred on April 15, Thursday, in the area of Old Oregon Trail and Old Alturas Road in Columbia.
The California Highway Patrol group said the crash took place shortly before 4 p.m.
When emergency crews arrived at the scene, they found a Honda Civic and a Jeep Cherokee. Officials mentioned the Honda sustained major front-end damage; while the Jeep had a broken right rear tire, and rear axle.

Paramedics later responded to the incident, near Columbia Elementary School. Medical personnel attended to all parties found at the scene, and confirmed at least one person suffered minor injuries in the crash. The name of the victim and their condition at this time remained undisclosed.
Several factors surrounding the mishap have not been revealed thus far. At the moment, detectives continue to investigate the precise cause of the car accident in Columbia.
