Six Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash in Commerce
COMMERCE, Calif. (April 19, 2021) — A Commerce car accident left six people injured early Monday on the Interstate 5 Freeway, just south of Slauson Avenue.
Also, the crash happened in the northbound lanes of the I-5 Freeway about 2:40 a.m. on April 19th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Two vehicles reportedly crashed into a disabled car stalled in the fast lane.
One person suffered major injuries and another had moderate injuries after the Commerce car accident. Additionally, there were four people treated for minor injuries, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Two patients were taken by paramedics to hospitals for treatment, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
Meanwhile, authorities issued a SigAlert at 2:55 a.m. for the 1, 2, 3 and 4 lanes, leaving the slow lane open for traffic, the CHP said.
Investigators will determine fault for the Commerce car accident.
