2 Hospitalized After Collision at Gage Avenue and Lanto Street Saturday
Commerce, CA (March 19, 2022) – Two people suffered injuries following a car accident that occurred in the area of Gage Avenue and Lanto Street.
The ABC7 News reported a vehicle veered off the roadway for an unknown reason. Officials said the car continued driving away from traffic, and ended up plowing through a fence of a residential property. According to the article published online, the car came to a rest after crashing into the house.
When rescue teams arrived at the site, they found one person trapped in the mangled vehicle. Firefighters worked extensively to free the victim.
An ambulance transported two injured parties to the hospital. The other patient was reportedly from inside the house. Pending confirmation, the names of the patients and the extent of their trauma remained undisclosed.
Investigators continue to work at this time to determine the precise cause of the car accident at Gage Avenue and Lanto Street.
