Multi-Vehicle Compton Crash on 91 Freeway
COMPTON, Calif. (June 28, 2021) — A Compton car accident involving multiple vehicles happened Monday on the westbound 91 Freeway.
The crash happened about 4:14 a.m. on June 28th near Wilmington Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Stalled Vehicle Involved in 91 Freeway Crash
The CHP reported a white Kia stalled on the right shoulder and a silver Honda Accord swerved, but crashed into it.
Two or three other motorists also collided with at least one of the vehicles.
Later, tow trucks removed at least two of the damaged vehicles from the 91 Freeway.
Meanwhile, paramedics responded to treat at least one of the injured, but there were no specific details provided in the CHP report.
Investigators seek to determine liability for the Compton car accident. It’s unknown if there are any witnesses other than the motorists involved in the collision.
Traffic remained backed up for at least an hour following the collision.
