 Compton Crash 710 Freeway, Alondra Boulevard (May 19)COMPTON, Calif. (May 19, 2021) — A Compton crash happened on the 710 Freeway Wednesday morning near Alondra Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol.

About 11:09 a.m. on May 19th, a driver in a gray Toyota RAV4 allegedly rear-ended a black Honda Civic sedan in the southbound lanes of the freeway. The Toyota had major front-end damage and the Honda had major rear-end damage. Both vehicles blocked the slow lane of the freeway, just south of Alondra Boulevard, police said. Tow trucks removed them from the freeway due to heavy damage.

2-Vehicle Car Accident on I-710 Freeway

A woman in the Toyota suffered undisclosed injuries in the collision. The Long Beach Fire Department responded to help those hurt in the Compton collision. No further details were provided in the CHP report at this time.

Investigators will determine fault for the 710 Freeway Compton crash.
