Palm Desert Woman Killed in 2-Vehicle Collision
PALM DESERT, Calif. (Sept. 20, 2023) — Connie Ramirez, 72, of Palm Desert, died in a two-vehicle crash at Hovley Lane and Washington Street in Palm Desert.
The deadly collision occurred around 2:50 p.m. on Sept. 19th, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
Investigators say an eastbound motorist struck the vehicle driven by Connie Ramirez as she was turning south into the parking lot near the intersection, News Channel 3 reports.
The Palm Desert woman suffered major injuries and died within minutes of the crash.
Meanwhile, a second person was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
