Conrad Furger, 90, Killed in South San Francisco Crash on Baden Avenue
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO (April 15, 2019) – An elderly pedestrian was killed after a traffic accident on Baden Avenue Thursday evening, April 11.
The victim has been identified as 90-year-old Conrad Furger, of South San Francisco.
According to The Mercury News, police said Furger was walking across Baden Avenue when for an unknown reason he was struck by a vehicle.
Fire department officials along with the paramedics responded to the scene and found the man suffering from major injuries as a result of the crash.

He was immediately transported to Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital where he was later pronounced dead. The fatal collision was reported at about 7:18 p.m. near the 500 block of Baden Avenue.
Meanwhile, police affirmed that the driver of the car involved stopped after hitting Furger and cooperated with the authorities. The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
