Woman, 78, Fatally Struck by Vehicle Monday EveningSACRAMENTO (November 6, 2017)- According to the Sacramento Police Department, Consuelo Duenas, 78, of Sacramento, was fatally struck by a vehicle as a pedestrian Monday evening.
The incident occurred at roughly 5:40 p.m. at the intersection of 24th Street and Glen Ellen Circle.
The victim, Consuelo Duenas, tragically sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene prior to the arrival of paramedics.
Sacramento police officials confirmed the driver of the vehicle did indeed remain at the scene and was open to questioning following the collision.
Authorities are currently investigating this matter as liability is uncertain at this time.
