1 Killed, 3 Injured in Traffic Collision Near El Sobrante Saturday
Contra Costa County, CA (October 2, 2021) – One person died, and several others suffered injuries following a car accident that occurred on San Pablo Dam Road Saturday morning.
The East Bay Times News published an article online indicating two vehicles collided north of Bear Creek Road in El Sobrante.
Initial records indicated a white Honda Civic drove on the shoulder of the roadway to pass traffic. For an unknown reason, the driver of the Honda lost control of the car. As a result, the Honda crossing into the northbound lanes where it crashed head-on into a northbound red Toyota Tacoma.
Deadly Car Accident on San Pablo Dam Road, October 30
Shortly after 11:15 a.m., rescue teams arrived at the accident scene. First responders found a passenger unresponsive in the backseat of the Honda. Despite life-saving measures, the passenger succumbed to their injuries and died. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Authorities added the driver of the Honda, the front-seat passenger in the Honda, and the driver of the Toyota all sustained injuries as a result of the wreck. The names of the injured parties have not been revealed thus far.
At this time, the California Highway Patrol group continue to investigate the deadly car accident on San Pablo Dam Road.
