Motorcyclist Hit by Vehicle on Highway 242 Near Highway 4

September 28, 2018 – According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, a suspected hit-and-run collision occurred on northbound Highway 242 Thursday evening.
At 6:34 p.m., the CHP logged an auto accident involving a motorcycle that was struck by a blue car. Officials believed the rider suffered injuries as a result of the crash.

Meanwhile, CHP mentioned the driver of the car drove away from the site before authorities arrived. At this time, officials are looking into the incident as a hit-and-run.
