Contra Costa, CA (November 21, 2020) – A suspected hit-and-run collision occurred on November 15, Sunday, on Bethel Island Road.

According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, an accident between a passenger vehicle and a bicycle rider took place on Bethel Island Road at Riverview Place.

The CHP logged the incident at about 8:10 p.m.

Earlier reports indicated the incident resulted in injuries to the bicyclist. At this time, the name of the victim and the extent of their trauma have not been revealed thus far.
