CONTRA COSTA: Tanker Truck Crash on Vasco Road Sends 1 to HospitalCONTRA COSTA, California — According to an article by East Bay Times, one person was taken to the hospital following a collision on Vasco Road in the afternoon of December 21.

The accident happened at about 3:30 p.m. between a tanker truck and a mid-size convertible sedan.

Responding crews located at the scene a sedan crashed at the rear of the tanker, and totaled.

As per the report, the sedan driver was rescued and airlifted to a trauma center for treatment of unspecified injuries.

No other parties have been reportedly hurt.

Investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the accident.
