4 Injured in Collision Near Patriot Gas Station
Cooks Valley, CA (August 13, 2022) – Several people suffered injuries following a traffic crash that occurred on Highway 101 on August 9, Tuesday.
The Redheaded Blackbelt News reported a white Chevy Silverado pickup and a semi truck collided head-on on the highway near the Patriot gas station in Cooks Valley. Officials said the accident took place at about 3:15 p.m.

When rescue teams arrived at the location, they immediately rendered aid to all parties involved in the wreck. The article published online mentioned as many as four people sustained injuries in the collision. Our sources indicated two victims received treatment for major trauma; while the other two received treatment for minor injuries. Personal information on the injured parties remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Several factors surrounding the incident have not been discussed thus far. At this time, detectives continue to investigate exactly how and why the crash happened on Highway 101 in Cooks Valley.
