2 Killed in Collision on Georgetown Road Friday
Cool, CA (January 14, 2022) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a deadly traffic accident that occurred on State Route 193 Friday afternoon.
Officials said two motorcycle riders collided on SR-193, also known as Georgetown Road. Due to the force from the impact, the motorbikes rolled down the embankment along the highway near Brush Rocks Lane.

Shortly after 2:11 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. First responders found two people with severe injuries. Despite life-saving measures, both parties sadly succumbed to their injuries and died. The identities of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Several factors surrounding the fatal crash have not been discussed thus far. At this time, detectives continue to investigate exactly how and why the accident on State Route 193 in Cool happened.
