Motorcyclist Killed in Car Accident in Calaveras County
CALAVERAS COUNTY, Calif. (July 2, 2024) — A fatal motorcycle crash happened Tuesday morning at O’Byrnes Ferry Road and Black Creek Drive in Copperopolis, California.
The deadly crash occurred at around 9:42 a.m. on July 2nd in Calaveras County, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported a motorcyclist and a Ford F250 hauling a 27-foot camper were involved in the collision, but it’s unknown what circumstances led up to the accident.
CAL Fire responded and confirmed the victim’s death on scene, however, the victim’s gender, age and identity were not released.
Police closed down O’Byrnes Ferry Road in both directions to investigate.
