Corbin McKinney Killed in Motorcycle Accident on SR-75 in Coronado
CORONADO, Calif. (Sept. 23, 2026) — Corbin Maverick McKinney, 25, died in a traffic accident between two motorcycles on Sept. 17th on Silver Strand Boulevard (SR-75) in Coronado.
The deadly collision occurred around 11:34 p.m. on Sept. 16th in the 7500 block of Silver Strand Blvd., also known as State Route 75, according to the Coronado Police Department.
Both of the motorcycle riders were seriously injured in the crash and transported to a hospital where Corbin McKinney later died at 12:17 a.m. on Sept. 17th. The young man was later identified by the San Diego Medical Examiner’s Office.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Coronado Police Department’s Investigations Unit and Traffic Unit.
