1 Injured in Corcoran Crash on Highway 43 at Santa Fe Avenue
CORCORAN, CA (May 29, 2021) – At least one was injured after a car crash at Highway 43 and Santa Fe Avenue in Corcoran.
The California Highway Patrol received a call about the accident late Saturday afternoon. According to their dispatch team, officers reported the wreck at about 5:41 p.m.
CHP said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Corcoran. They crashed on southbound Highway 43 at Santa Fe Avenue.
Car Collision in Corcoran Saturday
One of the cars involved, a black Hyundai, went off the road upon impact and then plunged down an embankment. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene.
Medical personnel then found one person who ended up hurt as a result of the collision. They provided treatment to the patient for the unspecified injuries they sustained in the accident.
Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced the southbound Highway 43 at Santa Fe to close following the wreck.
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the Corcoran crash.
