Cori Hudson, 38, Injured in Arroyo Grande Fatal Crash on Highway 1
ARROYO GRANDE, CA (July 8, 2022) – Cori Hudson was injured after a fatal car crash on Highway 1 in Arroyo Grande.
The California Highway Patrol identified the 38-year-old Grover Beach man as a victim of the collision which occurred on Wednesday.
The incident happened when Cori Hudson was driving a 2005 Dodge Ram south on Highway 1 in Arroyo Grande. At the same time, a 2007 Honda Civic was going north.
2 Killed in Wreck
He then started to make a left turn onto Winterhaven Way. CHP said his pickup truck went directly into the path of the Honda just north of the intersection.
In the process, the two cars collided head-on. The Santa Maria Times and KSBY News wrote that the wreck took place on July 6 at about 4:45 a.m.
Cori Hudson ended up suffering from minor to moderate injuries as a result of the crash. The two occupants of the Civic died following the accident.
The cause of the Arroyo Grande crash is still under investigation. Anyone with information can call the CHP at 805-594-8700.
