2-Vehicle Collision at Highway 99 and Gyle Road Monday
Tehama County, CA (January 24, 2022) – A suspected DUI car crash occurred at the intersection of Highway 99 West and Gyle Road in Corning, the Action News Now reported.
Officials said two vehicles collided in the Richfield area Monday evening. According to the article published online, the wreck involved a Camaro and a Honda Accord.
Shortly after 9 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. First responders attended to all the occupants of both the Camaro and Accord. After the evaluation, authorities mentioned no one sustained severe injuries. The names of the people hurt have not been discussed thus far.
Detectives later mentioned the driver of the Camaro showed signs of intoxication. Given that, police arrested the suspect after he received treatment for minor wounds.
Investigators handling the case continue to work to determine several unclear factors surrounding the car crash on Highway 99 in Corning.
