At Least 1 Killed in Collision at Michigan and South Avenue
Corning, CA (December 5, 2022) – One person died following a road accident that happened Monday in the area of Michigan and South Avenue.
The ABC7 News reported a big rig and a smaller vehicle crashed into each other at the intersection in Corning. Additional details on the make and model of the automobiles involved in the wreck have not been revealed thus far.
Deadly Traffic Accident in Corning
Shortly after 5:40 p.m., emergency crews arrived at the location. Responding paramedics apparently found one person unconscious. Despite life-saving measures performed by paramedics, the victim sadly succumbed to their injuries and passed away. Authorities continue to withhold the identity of the deceased pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Several factors surrounding the unfortunate event remained unclear. At this time, detectives continue to investigate exactly how and why the deadly crash happened at Michigan and South Avenue in Corning.
