At Least 1 Hurt in Car Accident at Black Butte and Corning Road Road Friday
Corning, CA (September 17, 2021) – A suspected hit-and-run crash occurred in the area of Black Butte and Corning Road Friday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, two vehicles collided head-on at the Corning intersection. The make and model of the cars involved in the wreck have not been revealed thus far.

Earlier reports indicated one driver fled the scene without rendering aid to the other motorist. No immediate information was available on the hit-and-run suspect.
Shortly after 9:10 p.m., emergency crews arrived at the crash site. Responding paramedics found at least one person with injuries. The name of the victim and the extent of their trauma remained undisclosed.
Investigators continue to work at this time to determine several factors surrounding the hit-and-run car crash in Corning.
