2 Injured in 3-Vehicle Crash on I-15 in Corona
CORONA, Calif. (Jan. 29, 2024) — Two people were injured Friday night in a fiery three-vehicle car accident on the Interstate 15 Freeway in Corona.
The multi-vehicle collision occurred at around 6 p.m. on Jan. 26th in the northbound lanes, just north of the Magnolia Avenue, according to CBS News.
The vehicles included a medical van containing oxygen tanks that exploded during the collision and at least two of the vehicles became engulfed in flames.
The Corona Fire Department responded to the scene and located two people with injuries who were transported to a hospital.
Meanwhile, firefighters extinguished the flames and both vehicles were completely burned. Also, the fire spread to nearby vegetation and that was also put out by firefighters.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the Corona accident on the 15 Freeway.
