CORONA, California (December 15, 2015) — As many as seven drivers collided and one overturned Tuesday morning in a crash on the westbound 91 Riverside Freeway, just west of Green River Road, a California Highway Patrol report said.
The crash was reported at 6:16 a.m. between three pickup trucks, two SUVs and two other vehicles. A woman was trapped underneath a green SUV overturned on its roof in the HOV lane. Paramedics with the Corona Fire Department responded to help those who were injured and to free the woman trapped in her SUV.
Other drivers involved included a black Toyota Tundra pickup truck, a tan Ford pickup truck and a gray Toyota Tundra pickup truck and were blocking the Nos. 1 and 3 lanes of traffic. A black Chevrolet Suburban was also involved in the crash.
A full investigation into liability for the crash is underway by police.
