At Least 1 Hospitalized After Car Crash on Riverside Freeway Sunday
Corona, CA (May 2, 2021) – A road accident involving two or more vehicles occurred early Sunday on State Route 91, the California Highway Patrol group reported.
Preliminary investigation revealed the wreck involved a black Toyota Camry, a white Chevrolet; and another vehicle of unknown make and model. For reasons still unclear, the three motorists collided on the westbound lanes of SR-91, also known as Riverside Freeway, in Corona.
According to the CHP log, first responders found the Camry veered off the right-hand shoulder of the interstate. Meanwhile, another car ended up disabled at the center divider of the freeway near Buchanan Street.

Medical personnel arrived at the site shortly after 12:05 a.m. Paramedics rendered aid to all parties found at the accident scene, including a couple of children. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed at least one person sustained moderate injuries as a result of the wreck. An ambulance reportedly transferred the injured party to a hospital in Loma Linda for treatment.
Additional details on the car accident in Corona have not been discussed thus far. Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate at this time the precise cause of the collision.
