1 Injured in Corona Crash on 91 Freeway Near McKinley Street
CORONA, CA (September 17, 2021) – One was hospitalized after a car crash on the 91 Freeway near McKinley Street in Corona.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident occurred on Friday morning. According to their dispatch, officers reported the wreck at about 6:55 a.m.
CHP determined that three vehicles collided in the city of Corona. They crashed for an unknown reason on the westbound 91 Freeway, just west of McKinley Street.
Multiple Cars Collide
The incident log described the cars as a silver Toyota Tacoma, a black Honda Accord and a black Ford Focus. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.
They found one person who complained of pain as a result of the collision. Medical personnel took the patient to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced the westbound lanes of 91 Freeway near McKinley to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the Corona crash is still under investigation.
