1 Killed, 1 Injured in Corona Crash on 91 Freeway Near Lincoln Avenue
CORONA, CA (April 14, 2023) – A crash killed at least one person and injured another on the 91 Freeway near Lincoln Avenue in Corona.
According to an article published by The Daily Bulletin, the tragic accident took place on Friday night. Officers reported the wreck on April 14 at around 8 p.m.
A California Highway Patrol dispatch said at least two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in the city of Corona. The cars crashed on the westbound 91 Freeway near Lincoln Avenue.
2 Cars Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They confirmed that one individual died as a result of the collision.
The report added that another party ended up hurt upon impact. An air ambulance flew the patient to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
The names of the deceased and wounded victims have not been yet released. Meanwhile, CHP forced the westbound lanes of the 91 Freeway to shut down for hours near Lincoln following the wreck.
The cause of the fatal Corona crash is still under investigation.
