1 Killed, 2 Injured in Corona Crash at Lincoln Avenue and Mountain Gate Drive
CORONA, CA (July 11, 2o21) – A car crash killed one person and injured two others at Lincoln Avenue and Mountain Gate Drive in Corona.
According to an article published by The Press Enterprise, the tragic accident occurred on Saturday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 12:29 p.m.
Corona police said a blue Honda Civic and three more vehicles collided for an unknown reason. They crashed at the intersection of Lincoln Avenue and Mountain Gate Drive.
Three vehicles involved obtained significant damage upon impact. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.
Multiple Vehicles Collide
They found a total of three people, including the 25-year-old man driving the Honda, who ended up hurt as a result of the collision. Medical personnel rushed them to a hospital for treatment.
Police confirmed that the driver of the Civic later died. Officials did not disclose the extent of the injuries sustained by the other two patients.
The names of the deceased and wounded parties have not been yet released. Meanwhile, police forced the area of Lincoln and Mountain Gate to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the fatal Corona crash is still under investigation.
