Motorcyclist Killed in Corona Crash on 91 Freeway Near McKinley Street
CORONA, CA (April 11, 2022) – A motorcyclist was killed after a crash on the 91 Freeway near McKinley Street in Corona.
According to an article published by My News LA, the tragic accident took place early Monday. Officers reported the wreck at about 1:06 a.m.
The California Highway Patrol said the motorcyclist and a vehicle collided for an unknown reason in Corona. The two crashed on the eastbound 91 Freeway, west of McKinley Street.
Motorcycle and Vehicle Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and then found the motorcycle down in the middle lanes. The rider sustained serious injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel soon pronounced the patient dead. The name of the deceased party has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the other driver ended up hurt or if they stopped following the incident. Officers forced the eastbound 91 Freeway to shut down near McKinley after the wreck.
The cause of the fatal Corona crash is still under investigation.
