2-Vehicle Crash Near Lake Matthews
RIVERSIDE COUNTY, Calif. (August 4, 2023) — A head-on car accident happened Friday on Cajalco Road, just west of La Sierra Avenue in Corona, Riverside County.
The two-vehicle collision occurred around 10:25 a.m. on August 4th, just east of Riverside Archers archery range, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A driver in the westbound lanes veered into traffic on the eastbound side of Cajalco Road, the report said.
CHP officials reported there were injuries involved and sent paramedics with the California Department of Fire to the crash scene.
The drivers of two vehicles including a silver Nissan Altima were involved in the accident on Cajalco Road in Corona. Also, both of the vehicles required tow trucks to remove them from the roadway.
Meanwhile, investigators are piecing together what happened to determine fault for the head-on crash on Cajalco Road.
