2-Vehicle Collision on Riverside Freeway Sunday
Corona, CA (July 18, 2021) – At least one person suffered injuries following a suspected hit-and-run car crash on State Route 91, also known as Riverside Freeway.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, two vehicles collided in the westbound side of the highway in Corona. Officials described the cars involved in the wreck as a Ford Expedition, and a gray Toyota Camry.
Officials mentioned the two motorists appeared to be racing before crashing in the party of the freeway near Grand Boulevard.
When medical personnel arrived, they immediately rendered aid to all parties found at the scene. The CHP log mentioned at least one person sustained injuries as a result of the wreck.

Investigators later mentioned one driver fled the scene after the crash.
At tis time, detectives continue to work to determine several factors surrounding the hit-and-run crash in Corona.
