At Least 1 Hurt in Traffic Collision Near Highway 91 Thursday
Corona, CA (November 22, 2021) – A suspected hit-and-run crash occurred on Interstate 15, also known as Corona Freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.
Earlier reports indicated a man riding a motorcycle collided with a white Honda car in the southbound side of the interstate. The collision took place near State Highway 91 on November 18, Thursday.
Per CHP log, the force from the impact ejected the motorcyclist onto the area near the center divider. Paramedics arrived at the site shortly after 3:30 p.m. and immediately attended to the victim. Our sources confirmed the rider suffered injuries as a result of the collision, and required treatment at a hospital.
Hit-and-Run Crash in Corona, November 18
Preliminary investigation later revealed the driver of the Honda fled the scene before police arrived. At this time, detectives continue to work to determine the identity and location of the suspect.
Further investigation on the hit-and-run crash on Interstate 15 in Corona is ongoing.
