One Critically Injured in Collision on State Route 91
RIVERSIDE COUNTY, Calif., (July 20, 2026) — A major crash occurred on the Riverside 91 Freeway West near Green River Road early Monday morning in Corona, prompting emergency responders to the scene.
The incident was reported on July 20th at approximately 6:18 a.m., involving possibly two vehicles, according to the California Highway Patrol. It was initially classified as a major injury collision. The collision occurred on the shoulder of the westbound 91 freeway at the Green River Road on-ramp.
At 7:19 a.m., emergency personnel, including Anaheim Fire, were on the scene. One injured party was transported to Kaiser Anaheim for medical treatment. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) notes the involvement of a Honda with rear-end damage. Authorities requested Advanced Auto for vehicle removal services.
