CORONA, California (Monday, October 5, 2015) – A woman called 911 earlier this evening to report that her son had been injured in a traffic collision on westbound State Route Highway 91, west of Green River Road. The incident however had not been reported to the police for approximately an hour. By the time the police arrived on the scene an ambulance had already taken the injured party to a hospital. The reason for this delayed communication have not yet been made clear.
The traffic collision occurred at about 9:00 p.m., but was not communicated by emergency services to the CHP until 10:09 p.m., according to a report by the California Highway Patrol, San Bernardino. No further details have been released.
