One Injured in Corona Crash on State Route 91
CORONA, Calif. (Oct. 11, 2023) — A two-vehicle accident involving a motorcycle happened Wednesday morning on the westbound Riverside 91 Freeway, just east of Main Street in Corona.
The collision occurred at around 8:44 a.m. on Oct. 11th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported a grey Kia sedan and a motorcyclist collided due to unknown reasons in the freeway’s slow lane.
The Corona Fire Department responded to help those injured including the motorcyclist who had an ankle injury and was “shook up” from the incident.
Paramedics transported the injured rider to Riverside Community Hospital for further treatment. The person’s family was notified about his or her whereabouts, police said.
Meanwhile, a flatbed tow truck removed the motorcycle from the roadway.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the motorcycle accident on the 91 Freeway in Corona.
