CORONA, California (October 29, 2015) — A motorcyclist and a black or blue sedan collided Thursday morning on the westbound State Route 91 Riverside Freeway, just east of Green River Road, a California Highway Patrol report said.
The crash took place about 10 a.m. and prompted a SigAlert to be issued at 10:37 a.m. due to the vehicles blocking lanes and heavy traffic.
Police say the motorcycle rider, bike and a blue or black car were blocking the HOV and Nos. 1 and 2 lanes. Paramedics with the Corona Fire Department responded to help those who were hurt tin the crash. The report stated that a truck driver witnesses the crash and had pulled over at the westbound scales to speak with police.
A full investigation into liability for the crash is underway.
“Hopefully those injured in this crash get the best available care for a full recovery,” said Attorney James Johnson.
