CORONA, California (July 7, 2015) — A crash involving as many as eight drivers was reported early Tuesday morning on the westbound State Route 91 Freeway, just east of Highway 241, a California Highway Patrol report said.
The crash was reported about 4:58 a.m. to the CHP. Three drivers were blocking the No. 1 lane and four or five were on the right shoulder of the street. The Corona Fire Department responded to the scene of the crash to help those who were injured.
The drivers involved included a white Chevrolet Bolt, a white Toyota 4-door sedan, a white Chevrolet pickup truck, a tan vehicle, a grey Honda Civic and a red Volkswagen GTI.
At least three tow trucks were required to take away damaged vehicles.
