Man Struck by Semi-Truck on State Route 91
RIVERSIDE COUNTY, Calif. (Sept. 27, 2023) — A pedestrian was struck by a semi-truck in Corona in an accident on the Riverside 91 Freeway Wednesday morning near State Route 71.
The major injury collision occurred around 11:41 a.m. on Sept. 27th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The drivers of a blue Ford Taurus, a grey Chevrolet HHR, and a semi-truck were stopped after the collision.
Someone called 911 to report their nephew stepped into the path of the semi-truck and that two men were with the man who was “face down on the ground.”
Paramedics responded to help the injured man and police issued a SigAlert due to the accident.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the pedestrian accident on the 91 Freeway.
