CORONA, California (March 28, 201) – A pedestrian was seriously injured in a traffic collision on Via Pacifica early Tuesday morning, according to The Press Enterprise.
The accident took place about 12:55 a.m.
As per the article, a statement released by the Corona Police Department said an 18-year-old man was in the road when he was struck by a sedan. The car was going south on Via Pacifica when the incident occurred.
The pedestrian was transported to the hospital to be treated for major injuries. His name and condition at this time remained unknown.
Meanwhile, police added that the male driver stayed at the scene. He was unharmed.
Authorities will continue to investigate the cause of the collision.
