CORONA: Tesla, Work Truck Crash on Interstate 15 Freeway, Hidden Valley Pkwy

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, Calif. (Sept. 16, 2026) — A fiery crash involving a work truck and a Tesla happened Wednesday morning on the southbound Interstate 15 Freeway in Corona, just south of Hidden Valley Parkway.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch log, the collision occurred around 7:18 a.m. on Sept. 16th, 2026. A driver in a white Tesla reportedly crashed underneath a Ford F-550 stake-bed work truck and became trapped in their vehicle.
Firefighters responded to the scene and extricated the driver from underneath the truck. Paramedics reportedly transported the injured motorist to a hospital; meanwhile, firefighters extinguished a fire that erupted from the electric vehicle’s engine.
It’s unknown at this time how many were injured in the collision.
Detectives are working to determine fault for the crash on the 15 Freeway in Corona.
