Minor Injury 5-Vehicle Crash 91 Freeway in Corona
RIVERSIDE COUNTY, Calif. (Sept. 30, 2021) — A 5-vehicle Corona crash on the 91 Freeway Thursday resulted in minor injuries.
The collision happened in the slow lane of the 91 Freeway about 1:14 p.m. on Sept. 30th, at the Maple Street on ramp, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP reported there were five vehicles involved including a red car, a blue truck, a gray Mercedes and a blue Volkswagen.

One of the involved vehicles lost a wheel during the collision. The motorists involved waited a while for paramedics and CHP to arrive, possibly due to a nearby crash that happened earlier in the day involving up to seven vehicles. “It’s been a while and you really need to get here,” one motorist told the 911 operator.
Meanwhile, the Corona Fire Department responded to the scene of the collision to help anyone hurt.
The CHP report did not mention how many people suffered injuries in the 91 Freeway car accident.
Investigators seek to determine fault.
