Coronado: Multi-Vehicle Crash on Coronado Bridge

1 Hospitalized After Collision on Coronado Bridge

Coronado, CA (November 13, 2022) – At least one person suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on Coronado Bridge, the CBS8 News reported.

Our sources indicated multiple vehicles collided in the eastbound side of the bridge in Coronado Sunday evening. Preliminary investigation revealed the wreck involved a truck, a red, and a silver sedan. The exact number of automobiles involved in the wreck, and their description have not been discussed thus far.

Shortly after 2:30 p.m., rescue teams arrived and rendered aid to all people found at the scene. After the evaluation, medical personnel said at least one person suffered injuries as a result of the wreck. An ambulance transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment. Personal information on the patient remained undisclosed pending confirmation.

Coronado Police reportedly shutdown all eastbound lanes of the bridge to give way to the investigation process. At this time, detectives continue to work to determine the precise circumstances that led up to the multi-vehicle accident on the Coronado Bridge.
