Motorcyclist Injured in Corte Madera Crash on Northbound Highway 101 Near Paradise
CORTE MADERA, CA (August 28, 2021) – A motorcyclist was hospitalized after a crash on Highway 101 in Corte Madera.
The California Highway Patrol first logged the incident on Friday afternoon. According to their dispatch, officers reported the wreck on August 27 at about 2:47 p.m.
CHP said a vehicle and the motorcycle rider collided for an unknown reason in Corte Madera. The two crashed on northbound Highway 101, just south of the Paradise Drive off-ramp.

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene and found the motorcyclist hurt. The victim sustained cuts and abrasions to their hands and right knee as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the wounded party to the Marin General Hospital for treatment. Officials did not disclose the name of the patient and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the other driver ended up hurt or if they stopped after the collision. The cause of the Corte Madera crash is still under investigation.
Officers forced the northbound lanes of the Highway 101, just north of State Route 131, to shut down following the wreck.
