CORONA, Calif. (June 6, 2018) — A driver in a red Corvette was allegedly cutting off other motorists Wednesday morning and caused a collision at Cajalco Road and La Sierra Avenue near Lake Matthews, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision was reported about 8:48 a.m.. between La Sierra Avenue and Archery Road. The Corvette went off the roadway and the vehicle was smoking with the driver trapped inside, the CHP report said.
The CHP report stated that the driver was “cutting off other vehicles” and “passed over double yellow line” to cause a collision with a red Saturn and possibly another motorist.
San Jose-Area Accident Investigation
Police are investigating this collision in an effort to determine who is at fault. At this time, we do not know what led to the crash and whether or not the big rig truck cut off the rider or veered into their lane.
