Rollover Crash on I-405 Freeway in Costa Mesa
COSTA MESA, Calif. (Sept. 10, 2021) — A Costa Mesa car accident happened Friday morning on the southbound Interstate 405 Freeway.
The collision happened about 8:02 a.m. on Sept. 10th at Harbor Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP reports a black Jeep overturned and landed on its roof facing the wrong way after colliding with a silver Toyota Tacoma pickup truck.
The vehicle blocked the slow lane of the Interstate 405, the California Highway Patrol said.

Police issued a SigAlert for the Harbor Boulevard off ramp between 8 and 9 a.m.
Meanwhile, one person with the last name Estrada suffered minor injuries. Paramedics transported the person to Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach for further treatment.
Investigators with the CHP are heading up an investigation into the cause of the Costa Mesa car accident.
