Driver Experiences Seizure During Crash
Costa Mesa, Calif. (July 10, 2023) — A pedestrian accident occurred Monday afternoon on the Interstate 405 Freeway and Fairview Road in Costa Mesa.
The collision occurred about 12:55 p.m. on July 10th, on Fairview Road in Orange County, California according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
A driver in a blue Kia Forte struck a male pedestrian near the on-ramp to travel northbound on the 405 Highway. The woman driving the blue Kia was possibly experiencing a seizure during the collision. The ambulance along with the Costa Mesa Fire Department were called on the scene to help those injured in the pedestrian accident on the 405 Freeway.
Tow trucks were also summoned and removed all the debris and the damaged vehicles from the scene.
Investigators are working on the case to determine who is at fault.
